Why I Want To Be a Senator
The folks of Tennessee in District 17 deserve
a Senator who will stand for and promote the issues that are important
to them. People in our community and across the state have tired
of "business as usual" and are ready for someone to take a stand
up for:
-affordable healthcare,
-fiscal responsibility at all levels of government,
-secure futures for our senior citizens,
-innovative problem solving and fresh new ideas
-and better education for our children.
Our communities deserve:
a Senator who knows right from wrong and
will be effective in playing by the rules.
a Senator who will take good common sense and Christian values with
him to Nashville.
a Senator who will produce and support good legislation to benefit
our communities and our state
a Senator who is a product of the good working class families of
this district, and who has not forgotten that these families are
the fiber of America.
As we endeavor to create a better life for
ourselves, our children and the next generation, we are poised for
a change. Our communities deserve a loud, clear voice; one who is
willing to evaluate, educate, compromise, legislate, and push forward
the future that we all envision for tomorrow. If given the opportunity,
I know that I can be that change. I'd be honored to receive your vote in August 2010 in the Democratic primary and again in the November general election.
